Put my down payment for the pre-order on PS3. Why did they not have more of a multiplayer in this game? Regardless, Co-Op will be fun... wish it was for more than 2.

Who's playing and what are you expecting?

The Beta is out now on Xbox 360, is it also available on the PS3?

No, its only on the Xbox Live service, Neesha. Sony did not get the hook up for their system.

This game has guns and some blood. The Wii release should be just around the corner, folks.

Tried to download it, it is only a 480 meg or so demo. However it was going insanely slow... to the effect that after an hour or a half it was only at 41% complete. Not sure if it was because everyone and their brothers were downloading it, or if I had a bad connection last night (was playing just fine online, no lag and such)... but geez.

Will give it another try tonight. I cancelled the download last night, I hope it remembers the 41% that is already downloaded...

Might be due to the demand for the demo. A lot of people are trying to download it

Finally was able to finish the download last night. Will be playing it later on.

One thing I am slightly worried about- is this game going to suck as a single player (like Left 4 Dead)? Is it going to force you to play co-op? While I enjoy co-op and multiplayer modes... sometimes, you just want a single player campaign. I personally found Left 4 Dead as a single player not as fun as multiplayer- to no fault of Valve, as the AI of your teammates are excellent. But I want to have the same amount of fun (or as close to it) both ways and not be forced into one or the other...

So first impressions, all from strictly single player (have not tried co-op yet)-

I give it an OK. It is not the second coming, nor is it utter crap. I am not running out to the store to buy it when it comes out, but if I get it as a gift from someone I won't return it. Background graphics are very detailed, but objects that are close look almost 3-D. Not sure if I am a fan of that.

I had more fun playing other games, and less fun playing other games. So basically I probably haven't done nothing at all to sway your opinion. Typical CC post :)
