Gears of War 1 is one of the best FPS games ever, so yeah I am sure GoW2 will follow suit.

Well GoW is not a FPS... It's a TPS so the question I think everyone burns to know is will you torrent it?

Whatever, semantics, it's a shooter. Third-person or not, it's still better than 90% of FPS games.

And yes, I torrented the Windows version, but I paid for the 360 version when it first came out. I'll do the same for this, no reason to pay for 2 versions of the same game.

I pre-ordered my copy yesterday with Gamestop. Turned in my old XBOX Halo console and like 10 games or so. They had a couple promotions going on, and ended up getting Gears of War 2 for free (kinda- no cash involved). I tried to sell on craigslist and ebay, but the prices were so low that it was never really worth it. Way I see it, I am getting GoW2 for free and I finally get rid of something that I will never play again. Woo!

This is my first game that I am buying within a week of release since Halo 2. Usually I am buying games very late, so I miss out on all the excitement and players in the first months of the game. This time, I won't miss out
