I thought LittleBigPlanet was going to be an Xbox Live Arcade title, but its a full retail product for $59.99 (a bit high I think, but what can you do). It seems to be a very unique game, and something different for the PS3 system. But, I'm not sure of the replay valve of the game. The game might get old real fast and stuff. Anyone here planning on buying LittleBigPlanet in a few months?

Looks amazing, and with people being able to make/share their own scenarios, I'd think there'd be plenty of replay.

This was a pretty good trailer

And now we are starting to see beta user created levels

LittleBigPlanet - The Human Body Level

LittleBigPlanet: Shadow of the LittleBigColossus

LittleBigPlanet Beta - Rollercoaster Custom Level (Posting this only because it for some reason reminded me of the addictive Fantastic Contraption)

LittleBigPlanet Beta - LittleBigUncharted - Doesn't remind me of Drakes Uncharted but shows off a lot of the cool things you can do like make a Sackboy Joker Dark Knight Style

LittleBigPlanet mini-MV - Asian Level

LittleBigPlanet Review from IGN.COM gives the title a 9.5

As you can see, I had a ton to say in this review, but that's because there's a ton to this game. LittleBigPlanet is a massive game, one that is essentially two parts intertwined so well that they're practically inseparable. Media Molecule has created a brilliant platformer, and then given you the tools to recreate the whole thing over again, or better yet, to create your own ideas from scratch. It's not perfect - - the controls could be tighter, automatically shifting between planes can be problematic, the editor isn't quite as robust as you might hope -- but what's there is nothing short of astounding. If you own a PlayStation 3, you cannot miss this. If you don't have a PS3 yet, this is the reason to get one.

Media Molecule delivers an instant classic.

With such a "massive" game, they should have split it up and sold it in 3 parts. Idiots.

LittleBigPlanet worldwide delay because of Qur'an reference

Man I just wanted to play the game, I don't care if there is some kind of holy war going on in the music =( The rumor is the game that was supposed to be released Tuesday, is now pushed back to Nov 14.

Funny thing? The song is a Grammy-award-winning tune from about 2 years back, and one guy decided to whine to Sony and caused all this mess.

Our local Wal-Mart actually put this out on the shelves today for some odd reason and they were taken back down within two hours.

Gamestop reported they had a box in the back but had to ship them back out. I thought that was interesting stores actually had the copies even with the recall officially out.

Now I don't know how true this is but someone was saying Sony does extremely well in the middle east so that's another reason they pulled it but like I said I don't know how true that is.

My local blockbuster said they are still having a midnight release today.

Edit: Just called again and now they aren't =p

Went to Kmart and they did not have any and was relatively clueless. However, they did put out a Playstation 3 60 GB tonight. Several people were scratching their heads.

Well it was supposed to be released tomorrow before this whole delay thing so that might be why, I am sort of suprised you saw any at all today.

I tried to buy it at Target today because it was on the shelves, in return I got a swift kick in the balls saying DO NOT SELL UNTIL NOV 7 OR YOU ARE A LITTLE BIG INFIDEL

The funny thing about that is when they came out of the back room to tell me why the game wouldn't scan not only did the electronics guy come out but so did the store manager, electronics dept manager, and another guy who was working there. Maybe they thought I would but I knew it was more then likely going to fail.

I hope they plan to distribute this game on PC at some point. I don't want to buy a PS3. :(

Very unlikely Myrtle. A few reasons. One, Sony does not make PC games (this is a second party title). Two, its their new mascot for the Playstation 3.
