Edit: Also, any chatting program we would like to use? When we did this on the DS we had the EZboard chat, without it though, do we ant to create an IRC room somewhere or use some sort of messenger?

This particular Thursday I may be making up a bowling league game. Hopefully we'll be done. My wife and I will both play if we can make it. We'll be gone all next week (taking vacation from work) Hopefully we'll see you guys this Thursday!

How do we set this up? Do we need to put everyone's friend code in?

That would help in case anything goes wrong and I can't log on. But, I'll be hosting so pretty much at least everyone needs my code. Once we have each other added you go to to 'Search for Friends' and just join whoever is in your friend list.

I'm going to have to take a rain check, we're expecting tornado-producing storms this evening. I'll be up for doing this in the future though!

Dude you were beating me on Mapple Treeway then you suddenly fell behind, that race was totally yours. That was fun though, we definitely need more people, the races get chaotic when you have a bunch of racers.

Saturdays are good for me too, often there's an 'off' raid for me on WoW on Thurs, and I like to be there to help ppl get stuff for alts and to see if that trinket ever drops (it won't and if it does someone will have more dkp than me for it I'm sure ;D).

Anyway, skipped the raid this week hoping to be there, but ended up going out to dinner instead, and didn't get back until too late. :\

I have a question for everyone. Which control setup do you use? The motion is not all that bad really, and works good for the most part. I'm thinking the GameCube controller is better over all.

I just use the remote. I have the wheel that came with it, but don't really need to bother with it. Holding the WiiMote sideways works great.

I have a meeting I have to run on Thursday night, but since you're 2 hours earlier than I am, I might still be able to do this.

I use the Wii Remote + Nun-chuck. I find I can make sharper turns.

Now this is practically the same as using a game cube controller or the classic controller. But I really like not having both of my hands glued together in one place. I can just sit in my chair and chill with both wrists resting on my knees, or on the arm rests of the chair.

I didn't like the wiimote motion controls, the turning is just too wide. Though I guess with practice I would have nailed down, in online matches there's a ton of people using the wheel/wii remote and they kick all sorts of ass.

I still love having my hands anywhere I want them. I guess that's the only thing I'll really like of the wii remote over a regular controller.

I played with the Wiimote and Nunchuk yesterday for a few hours at a friends house. I like it better than motion I think. Once I get my own setup at home going, I will try the GameCube controller and see which works the best over all.

This Saturday, same time. Room will be open at 12:20 PST. Week after this will be on a Thursday at 6:30 PM PST. Will try to alternate them to see when more people can come until finally setting an official date to make it easier for everyone to remember and make games even if I can't make it. =)

HDTV should be a boost in visuals. I saw some comparison screen shots of 480i vs. 480p on The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and you could really see a diff. Cool for you. I <3 my HDTV
