First off, I don't own a PS3. So if you are expecting a review, look elsewhere.

However, while reading up on the game on gamespot.com, I noticed that towards the end it listed the price of 25 pounds. Which, converted to dollars, is $40.

$40 for a demo.

I cannot think of a single console game (ever- previous, current, future) that I would personally spend $40 on for the demo version of the game. That is utterly ridiculous that someone would spend that kind of money for a couple cars and a track or two, just to see the graphics.

It is one thing to shell out $60 for a new game, completed. Fine, I can understand. But 2/3 of the cost of a full game for a demo version?!?!? Am I the only one who thinks this is stupid and dumb and silly? Or do you guys actually go out and spend $40 on demo games???

If so, then I must indeed be getting old...

Naw, you're right. While GT5 isn't a "demo" in the terms of "1 level of a game" demo, it's more of a "demonstration" and a fairly large game. Still, 40$ is ridiculous.

Key Game Features:
# Race over 60 cars from worldwide car manufacturers, including many custom tuned cars.
# Compete on six tracks with 12 total layouts, including Fuji Speedway, Daytona International Speedway®, and High Speed Ring.
# White-knuckle online racing with up to 16 players.
# Two-player split-screen offline racing.
# All-new interior dash view, featuring full driver animation and working gauges.
# Drift mode scores you on style as you master the art of drifting.
# New online features including Gran Turismo TV, time trial/drift rankings, and downloadable ghost cars.

I don't plan on getting this game, but that's hardly "a couple cars and a track or two, just to see the graphics."
