Ive been waiting to see how this game will turn out before picking up FIFA 08. This game is already released on the other consoles but not until Q1 of 08 for the Wii. It looks like theres been good reason to not have the Wii version done yet. They have either come up with a great new control scheme or itll be a complete disaster. Ill be holding off on FIFA 08 til it comes out though, thats for sure.

That game looks fucking ridiculously tedious. Bad usage of the controller.

1) The free run controls look cool.
2) Does it have any licenses?
3) I didn't even know the nunchuk had a motion sensor, haha. Always thought it was too light.

It seems the game is coming along pretty well. IGN.COM has a hands on write up from the import version.

IGN.COM has their review up and its good. 8.6 and they loved the pointer controls big time. I might pick up this after soon.

Quote:
Pointer control, increased fluidity, and on the fly team orchestration. This is how to innovate on Wii.

9.0 Gameplay
Pro Evo has changed the game of soccer, hopefully forever. Pointer control blends speed and fluidity with unprecedented strategy, and it’s an extremely rewarding innovation.
