Level 60 Vanilla WoW private server. Stable and 99.9% exact. Opened 15 days ago...population is 7k at peak times.

Kinda curious what the appeal is. You like doing Molten Core that much? Or is it just an open world PVP fest?

It's something that is lost in today's MMOs. I'm in my 20s, as far as level goes, and have been making friends to group with and do quests. There is a lot of interaction with other players and a real need for help on things. Something that MMOs in the past ten years have gotten away from. Granted Vanilla WoW was a cake walk after playing Everquest for over four years, but it feels different now compared to the last few MMOs that have come out. People are helping other people do things.

I'm having fun. Check out the Nostalrius web site. It's free, and there is no pay to play option. It's somewhat stable.

Playing vanilla wow is almost as masochistic as playing EQ1 in this day and age. I can't understand the appeal.

A WOTLK server I could almost understand, but vanilla? fuuuuuuck no.
