Finally last night the damned Betrayer of Humanity dropped for our guild (yes I got it )!

We were the first alliance guild on the server to take down KT (PWNHammer beat us by once freaking day) and taking TWO 25 man runs completely through there each raid week and not ONE of dropped for us.

I don't know what the RNG is for deciding what loot to drop off the damn loot table is, but it isn't that damn random. The Conqueror token hardly ever drops for us (on Sarth or in all of Naxx) yet the other tokens we are have started giving the token to people that can disenchant the turn in because most of the people have all nearly 5/5 Valorous of all the versions of the token. We have two druids with three sets of 4/5 or 5/5 because it almost always drops yet we have priests, paladins, and locks that have yet one set 4/5 full Valorous that have been running with us since day one. (On my Pally, I have the 4/5 bonus because I have the 10-Man Gloves and Chest; I had to purchase the 7.5 shoulders from badge of valor turn ins.)

Oh well, Uluadar will be here soon and it will be a moot point.

Dude, don't EVEN get me started on fucking RNG loot. The game seriously mocks me relentlessly. (Been running 3 chars through Naxx and I have literally NO T7.)

And by mocks me I mean shit like, "Clear KT on Druid, Turning Tide, lock/pally/priest tokens and caster cape drop. Clear KT on Warlock, druid staff, physical dps cape and druid/rogue/DK/mage tokens drop." happens ALL the damn time.

When WotLK first came out I was MTing for a guild and the rule was that anything that dropped from any raid - 10 or 25 - that I needed/wanted was mine....I got literally 0 items, everything refused to drop.

I don't really even raid anymore. It finally got to me after a while. ><

We killed KT the other night and not only did we finally get a Silent Revenge but we also got Last Laugh.

I think we have 6 Betrayers, it's all we can get to drop.

last night KT not only dropped the BoH he also left Last Laugh and the healing weapon - yes three weapons.

We have several of the "spinners" the fist weapon

Yeah, he refuses to drop a Spinner for Leythos...or a gun for me.

My guild leader actually tried the old different raid leader to see if we get different loot tables thingamajig people used to believe in back in MC/BWL. We've had Last Laugh drop off all but 5 KT kills. We also had a string of KT weaps go to waste.

First CG went to scrub rogue, who got demoted after he still sucked continually, and consequently gquit.

First Torch/Wall of Terror went to people who server transferred.

First Envoy went to hunter who emoquit, he also was pretty full of himself.

I think every guild/raid leader did that at one time or another.

Probably because "random loot is random" can seem so infuriatingly un-random sometimes.

heh, last night in 25 man naxx, nothing but conqueror loot dropped.

it all rotted, since none of the people who could use it were enchanters.

You can DE set pieces?

You can DE the actual pieces, but not the token. You need to ML them to an enchanter who can turn in that particular type of token in order to DE the result, otherwise the best you can do is sell it for 5g.

Yup, ever since Kara.

I hate the RNG, so many times we have gone through raids/dungeons and just watch every item get DE'd.

When you down a boss, its loot table should show up, and then a system of votes kicks in for the items wanted by the group.

It's not random at all. It's set to see who sucks the most in your group, and then reward them with all of the loot in the instance so that they can continue to suck or suck even more since they got good gear and can slack now!

That's so simple it could actually work. I wonder what the downsides would be.

Well, it would kind of suck to pug as a tank or healer. I can see it now. 4 DK chests per 25 man vault!

Yay, another week of archavon raids on my 3 chars and another week of watching druid loot drop on my rogue, rogue loot drop on my lock, grrr.
