Vent Overlay (updated 5/30/09) 1) Download the Vent Overlay program: http://www.4shared.com/file/108770625/1 ... erlay.html This zipped file includes the library d3dx9_25.dll 2) Unzip to a folder you want to keep it in. 3) Double-click "ShortcutMaker.exe" in the Ventrilo Overlay folder. Check "Minimize on startup" and "Activate on startup". 4) Either run the shortcut before running WoW or drop it into: C:\Users\**your-account*\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ folder Setup A) In the Ventrilo Overlay program (it will be minimized to an icon), go into options. Under "My name" type the name you sign in to Ventrilo with. Additionally you can mess with settings and positioning from here if you'd like. B) There are 2 settings in Ventrilo that you can either leave on or off. If you right click and go to View, you will see "Rank and "Guest tags." Determine if you want those on or off and change the name in your Overlay to correspond with the name that shows up in Ventrilo. There you have it, a Ventrilo overlay that works with Vista. Enjoy! |

overlay works for me in vista x64 without any sort of addon program. granted, I don't use it. |

Yah, it worked for me last night using Vent 3.04 32bit, with the overlay button. I had Vista 64. Going to try tonight without overlay button. |
