If you believe the mailbox issue is the only reason for this down time I am guessing you also believed the guy on the phone that told you Nadar had a fighting chance to become President!

Aside from a short period I think they have been down all day, sucks we were going to do one last quick BT clear and make one last attempt at Sunwell before the leveling craze....more importantly I can't do my damn dailys so if I die a lot I won't be able to afford repairs (side note: do not jump in pug kael/arch groups and spend 8 hours /facepalming and waste all your gold on repairs 2 nights before expansion).

I logged in before the massive downtime, all my mail was gone so it was one of the issues at least.

Guess there was also an issue of free S2 PVP gear and no restrictions on S4 gear bug.

I'm actually mildly excited about the WOTLK expansion, soon to be crushed by servers being down all day tomorrow, maybe Friday.
