I'm looking at using either a Khorium Scope (+12 Damage) or Stabalized Eterinum Scope (raises critical strike rating by 28). The damage is pretty self-explainatory but is the 200g difference (on my realm) worth the +28 to crits? I've been trying to find something online that explains how much more chance to crit I would get the Stabalized Eternium Scope. What percentage does the +28 convert to?

If I get the bow off Prince, I'll put the crit. scope on it because I absolutely want the critical strike bonus. Currently I'm using the +12 on the Huntsmen bow, as a hunter because it's cheaper. The crit scope averages 400g+ on my server, the +12 scope I usually get for around 75g (90g if you're impatient).

I doubt I'll be seeing the bow off Prince so the +12 is probably a better choice for me. I'm currently using a Skyfire Hawk Bow which I'm sure will be with me for quite a long time. It's a bitch getting keyed for Kara when you're not in a guild and can't find good pugs.

I pugged the entire thing except BM, it's not that bad.

The crit scope is way better, in my opinion. Plus, Crit is a bit tougher to come by in the expansion, so get it where you can.

Just remember that the crit scope only adds +crit to ranged attack.

I keep reading posts somewhere about the +12 damage scope adding more overall damage to a Marksman Hunter than the +28 crit rating. Mind you, as someone else said, crit rayting is harder to come by in the expansion, so, you might need the crit for the boost anyway.

Me? I'm survival. So, I went with the crit rating scope, simply because my build requires me to crit. So, I went with that. And now, with that scope, I have like, a 28.94% or something like that chance to crit. 45ish when raid buffed due to master tactician.

Up until you have an epic bow you're going to keep for a while, I wouldn't even think about the eternium scope. It's far too expensive for that. I use Sunfury, so, I could go with that scope though.
