So is Questhelper dangerous to use? I only use a couple mods, but that's one of them.

Except that Carbonite will only allow you to update from the site, which blows monkeychunks for me. So, I've been giving QH another shot.

I love QuestHelper. I've never tried Carbonite so I can't comment one way or another.

I like Jame's addon for all my questing needs, personally. <3

I prefer questhelper to carbonite. The map is funky in carbonite. :P

I see that WoW has not added their own version of Quest Helper. They also have their own version of Item Rack. What addons are still used today? I'd assume people still use BigWigs and threat meters? Is that about it?

I uh, use a lot of addons still. The built in equipment manger stinks compared to outfitter, and I still don't like blizzard's unit frames so I use ShadowedUnitFrames along with Healbot for the appropriate toons. I still use power auras too.

The built-in questing functionality in the maps is enough for me, tbh.

Odd coincidence. I spent about an hour last night customizing the look of the addons to try to clean up the clutter a bit. I play on a laptop so I try to limit the use of addons as much as I can as well. I'll see if I can post the UI later.

I use:

Big Wigs
Pitbull 4 (for UI)
Grid (for raid frames - though the new blizz raid frames do the job too)
Bartender
Button Facade
Recount
Omen
Prat
Eavesdrop
Tidy Plates - Neon set
Power Auras (to show trinkets, improved steady shot uptime, etc)

I see lots of people use Pitbull 4 in conjunction with Grid, doesn't make much sense to me. You can config PB4 to look just like grid with most of the same or better functionality.

Guess it's just "I'm used to it why change" type of thing?
