I'm looking to get a raptor mount with a level 42 char. Any suggestions on how/where to get darkspear troll faction besides the cloth quatermaster? Some mobs that gave +5 faction per kill would be ideal.

I am also looking for darkspear faction. I found that doing all the quests outside org (duator area) will give you 8k ish rep.

also the quests from zabrajin area (lvl 62ish) also give the faction but that doesnt help you.

at this point i am half way threw revered, and tired of buying runecloth.

I don't think you'll be able to do it without buying Runecloth.

That's what I was afraid of, darn. Shame all the AV quests are out, turning in alliance body parts used to be such an easy way to do it. All the repeatable quests in there give OG faction now though, right?

Ok, level 44 and 5k into revered with no Runecloth yet (option isn't even there). Running low on things to do now though, I have Hinterlands, but I don't think there is enough there to make it. At least when runecloth lights up I won't need too much of it.

Thanks for the Troll/Orc starting area idea. For some reason I thought grey quests gave almost no faction, but that's not the case. I got full faction credit for everything.

Ok, 2 things to update.

1. None of the Hinterland quests give Troll faction (though it's all trolls in the damn village!)

2. The war effort is a great way to get faction if you're on a new expansion server. I finally made exalted (at level 48) from thick leather and runecloth bandages. Almost broke even on the whole thing by having all the items disenchanted and selling the mats.

now for some bad news... i hit exhaulted. you dont want to know the amount of money/runecloth i went threw. I run to their town, I go to the mount seller. *sob* yeah, um, no raptors for the fat taurens.

nothing i read online said this. I have seen tauren on raptor (not knowing it was the pvp one) I about broke down and cried- this stupid game was gonna make me cry. I think I need my estrogen adjusted!

So, for everyone like me who doesn't know stuff- taurens cannot ride raptors or skeleton horses (unless they are the pvp ones)
