I can't seem to find any FAQ links to the Arena system? Particularly rules and restrictions. Are there low level brackets? & Where would queue? Is BC a must?

Is pvp honor in BGs now harder or easier to get items? (I have to pug, play with 2 RL friends)

Is the LFG tool any useful?

Ranked arena games are only for level 70s (which makes TBC a requirement), you can queue in any major city.

In general PvP gear is easier to obtain for those who don't have entire months at a time to devote to strictly PvP.

I'm fortunate in that I play with a regular group and don't have to join PUGs and thus I've never used the LFG tool.

I am guessing Arathi Basin, WSG, and AV are pretty empty these days, although I haven't queued to see. Had you played a month or so before the expansion hit, you could have easily had several GM pieces in a week or two (at level 60) as well as an epic PVP mount, without having to worry about getting the rep.

The way they implemented the link for the FAQ was a little funky.

It's an interesting system though. Time will tell if skill really plays the deciding factor, but the logarithmic approach gives me hope. I was surprised they put the actual formula up there; yay for seeing more of what's going on behind the game.

Man... that arena system looks awesome.

As someone who never PVP's, it intrigues me to.
