I have a Warlock and have been testing the new specs out in the bgs. Before, whenever I seen a druid I would think lolz easy kill. Now it seems that they got a huge pvp buff in terms of dps. It also seems like the rogue got even better now. If a rogue does it right he can keep me stunned and can't do anything defensively about it. Or I could just be a spoiled Warlock that is used to owning most things. What are you guys conclusions?

Warlocks got the biggest boost out of any of the classes (along with resto Druids). If you are having ANY trouble as a Warlock these days, you may want to rethink how you are doing a few things...

I was thinking affliction too. Especially now there will be a consequence when a priest or paladin dispells your dot.

Is there a good summary list of the talent tree changes?

I LOVE the druid feral changes. My druid is in shit greens I bought from the auction house, mainly of the monkey. He is hitting for some serious damage. In cat form mangle has replaced claw as it is superior in very way, the improved lotp is great, I get about 250 or so hp every 6 seconds. I havent tried him out in pvp yet but in pve at least I can slaughter stuff without ever having to shift out of cat form.

felgaurds rock for pvp. did the 2 man arena with a druid guildie. we did about 15 runs and we had no losses or deaths. felgaurd and black book is teh win. Also soul link and me having 5800+ hps with the druid buff an dhealing helped alot also.

I made a new warlock on a horde server, level 41 now. Since patch, I am killing 3 mobs at a time that are level 41-44 with no down time at all. Took me 3 hours to go from 40 to 41 this way. I know warlocks were buffed with the idea of things being fair in the expansion, but the lower levels have been completely trivialized now. Yeah, it was easy before, but now it's just boring. I'm really surprised they upped dot damage by such a degree.

Not bragging either, I'm not even doing anything that takes skill. Just drop CoA, Corr, Siphon Life on all 3 mobs (with suppression you rarely get resisted, even by higher levels) and then drain life until dead. If mana runs low, just dark pact a couple times.

Maybe other classes got this huge of a leveling boost too, but it doesn't seem it from the patch notes.

Well, hunter pets have become even more of a monster with the benefit of getting part of the hunters stats, and even pre patch a bm pet could solo yellow con mobs without the hunter firing a shot. Its not as visible of a change as for warlocks, but hell, bm hunters were pve easy mode already, and they just got another boost. My cat pet has a higher mitigation than my shaman does with a shield. Well, he had that before the patch too, but now its even more. He has a total of 5606 armor, and an attack speed of .85 without frenzy up. It drops down to .65, or .6 something anyways when frenzy goes off, which it does pretty much permanently since he has something like 12 shots or so that can crit and reset the timer during the duration of each proc. With wrath alone he hits 126 dps. 163 when frenzy and wrath are both up. *EDIT* I forgot to mention, all this is with a level 53 pet.

Just leveled 41-42 in around 2 hours in Badlands. Went even faster with lower level target dwarves (level 38-39). I just ran through instant dotting and only stopped to loot. Was killing 6 at a time because the dots were healing me at almost same rate they could damage me. Only limit was how many mobs I could find. Had an imp out and on passive just to take mana from, so no down time for even that. Six at a time with no down time is just silly.

For a frame of reference, I think the low level 40's used to take me about 5 hours of grinding.

Im busy farming ojs in winterspring, but I have zero downtime doing it. 57, 58, it doesnt matter, with intimidation up nearly every fight, and bestial wrath up every couple, I never even have to worry about agro. And since im not burning mana on aimed shots and the like, I never need to drink either. A few arcane shots is about the most I usually do. My pet got healed once, and even that was more of a why not situation than a neccesity. I was able to take on two oj matriarchs at once and still have enough life and mana for both me and my pet to keep going after I finished skinning them. Yellows? Hah, ive handled 5 at a time before inside a frigging cave, yellows are nothing to burn through. Only problem right now is finding solid yellows, in winterspring the only real concentration of yellows at 54 are the firbolgs and the ghosts, and both are perma camped, at least there are so many yetis that even with 5-6 other people there the killing is pretty much nonstop.

Should I be worried that my pet has a higher hp, more than twice my armor, and has a higher base dps than I do? lol Pet just got bumped up to 5800+ armor. I just wish it showed mitigation still. Im curious to see what % mitigation he has. It was just over 50% before the patch, when he had several hundred elss armor, I wonder what its up to now?

What happened was, with the delay of TBC, they had to squash all the whiners that couldn't wait another 2 months and gave us stacking HOTS, 41 point talents, easy HWL gear, increased damage output better agro from prot tanks etc etc etc.

Basically everything that was going to happen to people that did not buy TBC is what we got. Their claim was this stuff was not as important and they did not want to deal with these issues right when the xpac launched.

So yeah, alot of shit's easier for another month, but they just don't care about the legacy dungeons anymore.
