My friend is having trouble with his Maps. They work in some zones, like POK, but, not in other zones, like DSH. First thing I had him do was download the map set from Mapfiend. That did not fix his problem. I then copied and put the folder for MY Maps on a flash drive, had him remove his folder, and replace it with mine. This did involve a Restart of the game and a reboot also, just to be sure. My maps work fine for me. The same problem persisted. We checked the settings on the map itself, Levels, base, 1-2-3, etc. Still, the same problem. Any suggestions? As we speak, he is doing a full game scan, in case that gets anything. Thank you. |

Have him uninstall EQ. |

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq/posts/list.m?topic_id=171271 Couple things to look for, 1- Make sure he doesn't have multiple eq folders. 2- Make sure you're putting files in the map folder, and not a folder full of maps there. It's likely the only ones that are working for him are the ones that come in the initial download of eq. When you download from mapfiend and pick the map folder as its destination it puts a folder there, you want to unzip it to the map folder instead. |
