Anyone know where to look on Zam for the quests to get a better Merc?

DPS mercs now? I remember using the tank merc and it put out stupid amounts of damage. How does the dps mercs compare?

you have two, a melee dps (rogue) and a spellcast dps (wizzy).

The wizzy merc actually AoE's, so you can get some crazy PLing action from it with the taunt/DS methods.

I still prefer the tank merc as its taunt and hp more than make up for the less dps, which isn't too bad anyways.

Can't wait for Mez/Slower mercs!

They wont implement Mez mercs or Shaman Mercs, they will be adding additional teirs I think coming in next expansion.

only need 3 accounts with mercs for a full group, 3 of which are on auto pilot mind you.

Got my Tier 5 DPS Melee Merc.
Damn, it is a lot tougher than my old tier 1 Merc.
I almost feel sorry for the mobs.
Almost.
Instead of a Frog, this time I got a Clockwork Merc.
Basicly, it becomes a giant Magic Bullet and Blends the Mobs to death.
I am afraid to sleep at night after looking into it's cold, dead, souless eyes.

haha, yeah I need 2 final quest for one of my Alts for Tier 5 its a huge difference isnt it.
