I am trying to camp this weapon, but, I am not sure what level the stun stuns up to. I tried to read the lucy entry, but, I could not make heads or tails of it. Up to what level of creature will it work on?

I would guess that it works on creatures up to lvl 45, and you can only use the proc when you are lvl 50. But I am confused... I thought you were at least lvl 70, and you surely have to be better geared than to have a 25/25 weapon in your main hand :P

You can buy a better weapon than that from the bazaar for 5k. Why would you be camping that piece of crap?

I have been farming for tradeskill stuff, and I hate cleric mobs, was looking for a stun proc to help prevent healing.

Doesn't clerics get a stun spell of their own? I agree that cleric mobs are a pain to handle, but geez... just use your spell and stun them. And if it is just tradeskill mobs you are after, they are so low to begin with that you can just melee them to death even if they do heal.

I just personally think that item is a waste of your time. But that is just me. If you really are that into a stun proc, then why don't you buy one of those chaotic strike augments that proc that stun and put it in your main weapon? Yeah it is an aggro proc... but if you are solo, then who cares if it pulls aggro or not. And I highly doubt you will be melee'ing in group situations and are going to pull aggro off of your main tanks, so just buy the augment instead of wasting time on that item.

In my opinion...

yes, Chaotic Strike procs are DD/Stun, they are handy for a little extra bit of aggro for any tank lacking a Rune aug.

Clerics have a ton of stuns though, I guess you just want the added procing for the heck of it? I wouldn't rely on it unless you have Weapon Affinity 5 and some good DEX/haste.

Stuns worked up to lvl 55 mobs, that proc says lvl 45 for the 100 dmg which would be when the dmg maxes. Though everyone is right, go pay less than 5K for a better 1hb that you can aug with a stun proc.

Worthy E-Bayed? No way.
But, I did take a break for a few years and lost track of everything in the game. HAd/have a lot of relearning to do.

I have been playing around with my 79 cleric, soloing old world content that would beat my ass before, and just found it anoying how healer casters would keep themselves going. Most of the time I bash if I catch them casting. I do have stuns, but, do not want to waste the spell slot, so, was looking for a proc. Not for use in my regular play with groups, more just when I want to do casual farming. I am finally getting to be the battle cleric I always wanted to be. I can Solo LDONs(Have to get 2 people to group with me while they are off soloing stuff) for light blue EXP and can play with raid mobs like Rumblecrush and Doomshade that used to wipe out whole guilds.

It gives me a different style of play than when I have to be a healer in a SHIP group or something like that. The 5 second stun proc looked like it could be handy, depending on the level it was for.

By the way, this is what I normally use:

Quote:
Wand of Dark Waters
MAGIC ITEM LORE ITEM NO TRADE
Slot: PRIMARY
Skill: 1H Blunt Atk Delay: 26
DMG: 24 Dmg Bonus: 20 AC: 5
DEX: +9 STA: +10 CHA: +9 WIS: +10 INT: +10 HP: +150 MANA: +150
SV FIRE: +12 SV DISEASE: +13 SV COLD: +13
Mana Regeneration: +3
Recommended level of 68. Required level of 63.
Effect: Time Lapse (Combat, Casting Time: Instant) at Level 65
WT: 2.0 Size: MEDIUM
Class: CLR DRU SHM NEC WIZ MAG ENC
Race: ALL
Slot 1, Type 4 (Weapon: General)

Item Lore: A wand once used for dark purposes
Item Type: 1H Blunt
Stackable: No
Updated: Wed Oct 8th, 2008

-----------------------------------------

Effect: Time Lapse
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 750

And I have a life tap aug on it, but, the chaotic strike might be a good change.

yes, the proc form that is WAY more useful for farming. Add the Chaotic aug for the added spell interupt if you must have it.

Cleric's dont need lifetaps, you have HoTs =P

ya, just buy up a bunch of radiant crystals in bazaar, they also have a no drop tinker bag from those merchants as well.

If you are unaware, the camps are in Lavastorm, near-ish Solb. One side is the evil section (Dark Reign, who take ebon crystals) and the other is the good side. (Norrath's Keepers, radiant crystals) You would normally get the crystals from doing DoN missions or something but you can just buy them, reclaim them once they are in your inventory and then go talk to the DoN merchant in order to buy whatever you want.

When I first came back I wasted a lot of plat on DoN merchant gear, the augs/weap/armor were quite nice then, still a good source for misc augs and such today.
