Donkey Kong didn't have the best graphics either, did it? But it was damn fun!

Yeah :/
I'm all for "eye candy", and a fair number of games out there these days are simply "whoa!" for graphics.
But for me I guess it boils to form vs. function. If given a choice between gorgeous graphics, but brain-numbingly easy gameplay vs. a really well-coded game with good difficulty and challenges, but with slightly outdated graphics, I'd go with the latter.
Hence why I'm trying EQ again after trying EQ2.

If I can find a game with both, of course, I'd be all for that. But so far I haven't seen a MMORPG that combines gorgeous graphics and amazing gameplay (note the MMORPG. I've seen several single-player games that qualify here).
