You could have quit EQ 5 years ago and they'd still have your character in their system. Thus, having a database with this information doesn't seem surprising to me.

Yeah EQPlayers should have all chars no matter what. It just wont have their gear typically if you havent logged in a long time.

Thats the one good thing about EQ... They seem to never delete accounts/chars... heh

Have they done anything to places like Sebilis or Sol A & B? The last thing I remember about revamping was a revamp of Guk, I believe, and I seem to recall something being done to Najena. Are those places just empty these days? Does anyone go to Ssra? Do the Planes of Power still get raided at all? Or do Necros solo that guy who dropped the Blade of War now?

I think those two are of the very few places that have not been updated. Najena and guk havent been updated AFAIK. Lots of the oldschool dungeons and planes have not... Theyve added new mobs and items in some of the zones(augs for hotzones, etc), but other than that nothing nutty.

I cant say im really that happy with the changes though, such as the deserts and freeport (freeport blows now).

With the new pet upgrades, magicians are talking about some good solo former raid mobs. I know I can do Vindi; my goal is to take out Avatar of War.

I know a couple magicians on another server are going to try and trio Saryn. Also heard a rumor that some top end geared SK is going to try and solo some of the PoTime named mobs like Bertox and Cazic. Unreal...

I actually just use the ranged ammo slot for corpses... I leave those on the corpse so i dont have to rez immediately. (Edit: I use a horse when i need it for that slot)

Whats wrong with turmoil warts, i mean, they itch for a little while, but then they kinda become endearing.

Besides, i enjoy what im doin My gear still sucks compared to most i know, but its good enough to get me by, i mean shit, i just hit level 75 about 2 weeks before they released 80. Im making forward progress, slower than others but still faster than i used to(was 65 until ~1year after they upped to 75 from 70)!

Hay Dave, was thinking about calling to see how things are goin. Hows the baby? Mine are in kindergarten already, and its scary(but so awesomely cool)!

You don't have to rez immediately even if you leave nothing on your corpse, it stays until it is rezzed, until you /decay it, or the timer expires.

I think those were actually a gift from Nimloth quite some time ago, lol... I think he was giving them away because he had no space like... 3 years ago.

I got my epic 1.0 about 6 months ago too. Then about 2 weeks after got my 1.5, and 2 days later got all the items except the last piece from anguish for 2.0... lol

Now youre making me curious, Neesha. I bet when you quit years ago you still had better gear than i do currently.

It's pretty weird seeing that gear. I barely remember it (and didn't even remember I had that robe). I do remember that I never upgraded my VT Circlet of Disguise, though.

I cant believe Enchanters are up to 20k base hp... thats insane.

DT is like 32k now i believe... Monks can completely negate it with one of their discs though(and it has a 3 or 6min refresh).


Did that with like 13 or 15 people... Was pretty quick and easy, I was the only one that died, good stuff...

All but 2 other fights were done with 6 or less...

I believe they fixed that Dash, I remember several monks on my new server crying about it.
