I have hear there is a "magic" level to get AAs (53) where they gained faster than at higher levels. Is that right?

I'm sure it would have been valid years ago, but after overhearing people say "Holy jesus we got like 30 AA in an hour" before, i'd wager not.

Seems to me, if each AA is a fixed amount of experience, it'd be more a question of the zone and the experience reward from the mobs you're fighting.

But I have no idea.

When I was still logging in, the AAs came faster at lower levels, as mob difficulties scale faster than level abilities. Further, with the 'compensation' multiplier they've added, you'll still find better success between 51 and 55 than at higher levels - of course, you'll also be stuck at those lower levels and unless you're boxing it'll get lonely very quickly.

Odd... Personally i tried pulling off AAs around 51-55, it sucked... horribly. So i held off until 65. 65 Seemed to be a pretty good sweet spot. Without sweating i was getting about 1.5AA per half hour(2-3 with Lesson) in Veksar while 2boxing(so per character that much AA). Dunno if thats great, but it was great for me...

Speaking of which, i need to change my sig :P

1 AA exp = 1 level at 53 or 52. It is easier to get AAs at higher levels. in days gone by places like RSS were 5% AA per kill, I have heard that they have changed it some since but not sure on the details yet

An AA required the same amount of exp as going through level 51 once. While its true that it would be easier to get through that amount of exp while 53 it would be easier still to get through it when you were 60 or 65. The amount of exp you could crank out with a group of decked out 65s far overshadowed the amount you could get in any other situation the exception being a bard swarm kiting. God I miss swarm kiting...

Some of the new expansion mobs give 12pct AA per kill at level 75... Only take about 2-3min to kill solo...

Best xp i found was at 65 in veksar with a charmed pet... Nothing ive found has come close to that...

Exactly. I honestly never really understood why people always grinded them at lower levels. Thrill factor of going for something new maybe? Either way, it just makes sense that you would have an easier time grinding them out with the gear you ended up with at 60-65. The focus at the 60-65 caps became gear-oriented, and you were more likely to be better off per your level than some odd mid-point with odds and ends that you picked up while you were leveling.

The point is relatively moot now. They've made the difficulty/cost per level scale with your xp now. Sure, it's still easier to earn AA as a 75, but you'll spend roughly the same time if fighting yellows and reds.
