(This is somewhat of a sports rave, but I thought is could go here)

I am not a fan of the Tennessee Titans. In fact, I can't remember any time that I have rooted for any team from Tennessee (other than maybe Vandy when they are playing the Vols) but that is just background.

If you missed it, Coach Fisher was at a charity function with Tony Dungy, the retired head coach of the Colts. He was to introduce Tony Dungy and before the introduction he did this:

Fisher stepped back up to the microphone and said, “I just wanted to feel like a winner,” drawing laughter and applause from the crowd of about 2,500.}

Anyhow, some Titan's fans were WAAY upset over this in their minds treasonous act, calling for an immediate apology.

Later in the week on his local radio show after a fan called him on it, he had this piece of win:


Brilliant.

That's a cool intro! People are crazy to get up in arms; just have a laugh and get over it.

OMG HE IS A TRATER TO HIZ TEAM.

Jeff Fisher has gained thousands of cool points in my book.

And yes there is so much stuff that is said in jest in this politically correct world that everyone spazzes over that people really do need to rethink things if they are offended by some things that are said...
