There are two commercials I see again and again that I fucking hate:
A1 steaksauce. You know the one. The guy is putting it on his burger and the snobby type says that's a good idea and asks to borrow it. The first guy thinks he's talking about the sauce but as he's reaching for it, the other guy takes his burger. The part I hate is the guy just sits there all "not making a scene" instead of using that bottle to anally violate the prick.

Minute Maid Boost shit. You see some vampire chick telling this guy she thinks he's the father of one of her kids. Not students; kids. So before minute maid, he's thinking of Cancun, Spring Break 99. With minute maid, he realizes she's the art teacher and holds up his sad little bracelet. Moral of the story: Minute Maid turns you into a limp-wristed little douche.

I like the Minute Maid one because not only is she his kid's teacher, she's "SISTER Mary Catherine." I like the horror she originally feels at the thought of banging some dude during Spring Break.

Any and ALL of the Sonic drive in commercials with the jack offs sitting in the cars.

I wish someone would put them all in a bus, weld it shut, and set that fucker on fire.

I really like the Prius commercials with the weird people-as-geography.

I have two methods of skipping commercials. 1) DVR (how can you not have a DVR?); and 2) Laptop computer. I haven't seen any of the commercials you are talking about. :)

Why is the guy in the minute maid commercial walking around with a half gallon of fruit juice and is so parched he needs to drink it on the escalator?

What's crazy is that you can't just change to another channel for the duration of the commercial because odds are THAT channel is in commercial too. On a whim I flipped through the 100 or whatever channels I get and counted which of them were showing the actual program and which were at a commercial break. I didn't write the figure down or anything but well over half of them were in a commercial. I pay 80 bucks for what?

most TV networks have commercial breaks around the same time. Usually, for hour long shows, the break at around 40 min is a double length commercial

We are thinking about canceling our cable. Mostly cause of lack of content and hassle to watch something. It is so much easier to erm... "borrow the DVD from a friend".

Our HD is lacking too, and they just came out with some new HD channels (for our market) which aren't anything special, but once again, I have to pay more money for.

Being advertised to is one thing... When 20+ minutes out of 1 hour of a show is commercials on a channel that I already pay for is another.

That's pretty standard, 30 minute shows are 22 minutes, 1 hour shows are 40-44 minutes.

I'd cancel my cable in a heartbeat as I rarely really sit down and watch tv other than the animation on sundays on fox. The problem is the cable company wants to bend you over if you don't hook into one of their cute little packages. I think they wanted to charge me like 60 something a month for internet alone.

I'm afraid they are gonna do that to me too. I still haven't canceled it. But, I know they are charging me 10 bucks for DVR and another 10 For HD box.. I know I will at least be saving 20 bucks.

I will stand by my assertion that Krystal's are disgusting. White Castles, IHOP, and Waffle House are great way to end a long night of drinking. 4 Double Jalapeno Cheeseburgers, Chicken Rings from White Castle. And then a double order of hashbrowns scattered, covered, smothered, peppered, chunked, topped, and spiced from Waffle House is truly ambrosia.

Never been to White Castle (or the White House  ) but IHOP, Waffle House as well as Huddle House have served well as post-drinking food places.
Since none of those are convenient where I am I would go for a dish called the country mix at the local 24 hour diner.

Waffle House is crap. Huddle House is only slightly better. Best late-night food is almost certainly Denny's.

Commercials I hate:

1) Any commercial where a baby is (usually CGI'ed) doing "grown-up" things.

2) Any commercial where an old person is doing "kid" things. (Rapping, breakdancing)

Thats' about it. Those kinds of commercials make me want to vomit.
