OJ Simpson was riding in a white Ford Bronco along a highway in Los Angeles, CA.

Wow. Still feels like it happened yesterday. I know I was watching it on TV somewhere. I do remember clearly where I was, of course, when the verdict came down a year and half later.

That trial will probably forever be the greatest media/Hollywood trial in the history of our court system, both past/present/future. Still amazing even to this day.

Not that I'm complaining, but I'll assume this is a rave!

When the news needs news to report....

Wouldn't have been a headline if something important was going on.

I couldn't have told you what year, much less what day. It was a total non-event for most people I knew. :p The trial was another matter, but that was just because it became such a joke the way the media was covering it.

I was watching the NBA Finals and was fucking pissed they kept cutting in with the boring ass chase. I couldn't give a fuck less about this shit from the very start, and that has never changed.

My high school chemistry teacher stopped class and turned on the verdict. Which was crazy to me, because again, I didn't give a fuck. But it was better than chemistry!

Yeah, it was a huge deal in my high school too. Teachers apparently thought it was some all-important social lesson and was worth constantly interrupting classes for.

It had quite a polarizing effect in my school between the "He's guilty" (Which were mostly white) and the "He's innocent" (Which were mostly black) so it naturally evolved into a "racial" thing and there was much sadness.

I was moving into the town house with my soon-to-be wife. We had finished for the day and had walked up to Big Mamou's (great Cajun place that has long since moved/closed) had a beer at the bar with some dinner and watched what was going on.

We were at senior week in Myrtle Beach, drinking Mad Dog in the hotel room watching the Bronco Chase, listening to Adam Sandler's "They're All Going to Laugh at You" CD.

God, I remember it like yesterday. I saw Brandie's tits for the first time that day and I still enjoy them from time to time.

I think I was in the Army barracks at fort hood, but honestly I don't remember. I vaguely remember seeing something on the news, but I didn't really care enough to have it locked into flashbulb memory.

The verdict though... I remember.

The chase? I don't think I heard about or saw that until the coverage of the trial started.

The verdict: Junior high - gym class. Someone had a portable TV set. I remember wondering why people cared.
