...for the first time since before my ankle surgery. If was GREAT to be back on the course again. I guess the best news that that my repaired ankle does not hurt! Before my surgery, if I did anything that was more stressful than a slow walk my ankle would hurt for days after. Today I am just feeling the blister on my right foot (had surgery on the left ankle) and the slight wind/sun burn from being out there a bit long.

I've never played golf in my life (unless minigolf counts).

I used to play all the time. My dad does play all the time. When my doc asked me what I wanted to get from the surgery I told him "I want to be able to play golf again and not have it hurt for days afterwords."

I played golf once. I don't know if I found a single ball that I hit.

Didn't try again.

I played in a charity tournament last week for Kids Voice here in Indy.

About 20 Colts' players were there and I got to play a hole with Jeff Saturday. What a great guy.

Afterward there was a buffet style dinner of fried chicken, baked beans and potato salad. Never in my life have I seen individuals consume so much chicken in one setting. Those guys literally filled up 2 plates apiece with nothing but chicken and had a third plate with beans and salad. Their second trip up they rounded it off to 1 plate of chicken, one plate of beans and salad.
