Aliens is a classic, and Farscape was well-written, Binkee. I'm sorry for your anti-mainstream bias, and I hope you recover soon.

Hehe, that was kind of neat. I was like, "Is that Chiana from Farscape?! It is! Literally..." I guess she would make a nice Cheetara. :P

And no, I shouldn't surf YouTube. Can someone tell these people it takes more to make a fake trailer than splicing together scenes from Spiderman 3, adding music, and calling it Spiderman 4's trailer?

I'm impressed by the technical aspect of it all, but the artistry and general theme of the trailer seemed rather lame. The guy may be a nice special effects wizard some day, just don't let him be in charge of the content involved.

Content of movie segments != choice content of trailer. At the very least I would've preferred to see some good movie selections in there, and at times the segments, when brought together, seemed very awkward and unthoughtful. I'm just saying I've seen far better splicing jobs when it comes to content.

Examples?

Certainly!

Well, actually there's only one that comes to mind right now, but I feel the splicing is well-done. Now, it's a bit cheesy and some of the movies well.. just plain suck, but at the same time, the places the video cuts out end up making smooth transitions rather than the usual random action scenes jumbled together in the Thundercats trailer.

Braveheart in particular is obviously overused(in countless videos..), /sigh... but, it's an example of content stringed together that actually flows.

Another plus is that it's not solely based on movies/shows released in the last 5 years, but that's a seperate point.

Whoever did this video put a hell of a lot of work into it. I was pretty impressed.

That Thundercats Trailer ois freaking AWESOME!

Maybe I see too many movies, but I could kind of tell where they got some of the doctored clips from (a lot of the Panthro stuff was from Chronicles of Riddick).

But still, the people that made that have vision.
