We cleaned out the attic today... Somebody had put some particle board down across the beams. and this is what was up there.

1 empty Backpack
1 child's Blanket
1 pair of socks
1 empty cigarette pack
1 beer can
1 sponge bob square pants "pail"
1 sex toy catalog
1 page of a magazine with a softcore porn image
2 tubes of genital desensitizing cream
1 newspaper clipping from 1992

Any guesses? My wife and I were like CSI up there trying to piece all of it together. The attic is one of those with the pull down stairs. It is a pretty good size, and was empty sept for those things, which were all on the board. There is one Octangular window facing the street below. The the sheet of wood with all these items was near that window.

I went back up to snap a couple of visual aids. The stuff is already in the garbage back, and ... yeah, too icky to dump out and re-bag.

I guess it was a diamond window.... eh.. always thought it was like a circle =(

It was a kid's happy collection. After mastering the ability to auto-fellate he vanished into the attic and never ventured forth again. Those dust piles are all that remain. It was near the window because that is the only source of light in his fortress of solitude.

No. But the previous renters were only here for a few months... they couldn't afford the rent, the landlord said.

It might have had empty spans for awhile before that, I dunno, the guy uses it for a rental property, and from what the neighbors said, he has a hard time keeping renters.

I thought maybe somebody was squatting for a min, or using it for a sex house or something like that, but this is a small town, and lots of nosy neighbors. I don't know.

As someone who's lived in/around small towns his whole life, that makes the likelihood of it being used as a teen sex/drug house while vacant even more likely.

Renting is such a pain in the ass, I hate dealing with my landlord. Currently they are trying to tow my car for parking in a carport that is in my lease. When I moved in they gave me two carports without having to pay the monthly fee, they said because it's free they can remove them at anytime they want but my lease renewal has a paragraph for changes to the original lease and removal of the carports was never mentioned. When I asked them to point out in my lease were they could take away my carports they told me,"Keep parking there and we will tow you or pay us effective immediately"
