I just wanted to Rant the people who used to play on the Sullon Zek server.

For those of us not up to date on EQ's latest machinations, what happened? Did they finally take that server full of d00dz and burn it in the Sony parking lot?

Yep, I was reading the forums about 1 AM when the whole mess started. There were only like 4 of us on at the time, but none of us were admins so we couldn't stop it.

That's also around the time that Bovinity started posting here from SZ, although I don't think he/she had anything to do with the attack.

What I remember most about that is Tarot's absolute ownage of them, by way of their IP's, their ISP's and their parent's contact info. They may still be getting denied internet access.

My personal favorite was the fact that someone from the forums tracked one of the little bastards down to his job at a Subway and posted the info. Of course EZboard had seizures over it, so I had to be all stern and shit...but I sekrit-ly loved it.

I also loved the chat someone (Givin?) posted where one of the attackers was QQing about how he had lost his high speed connection because so many Lanysites had contacted his ISP and how he was stuck on dial up AND his mom and dad were really pissed at him. It was like a hug from Jesus. <3

Yeah, I sent Tarot a big, sappy letter about how your forum looked like a fun place and such, and she let me in even though I admitted that I was a Sullon Zek'er. Funny, if I *HAD* been one of the spammers, it would have been rather amusing to have been let it right after the attacks despite admitting my evil Sullon Zek-ness.

You've been a welcome addition to the community Bov. SZ boards were a total cesspool. I mean, I get humor that I don't particularly care form in that while I don't find it funny (Jackass, etc.) I can certain understand why some ppl do...but the shit they found funny was of a level of severely inbred children smearing fecal matter on the walls. There's just no point at which that's amusing.

I did! Even got to like...level 20 or something. I think I harassed...Leolan? Some name with a L in it. Played with Shareef and Ranv in FFXI and WoW a little too and even weasled my way into Oryx for a bit, as I remember.

But then I quit MMO's for the bajillionth time (For like a week, as usual) and when I came back I got sucked back into playing with my old SZ pals. The decent ones, not the fecal-smearing crowd.
