i did the 2week trial and deleted the game early. It seemed like a pretty fun game though.. I could tell that I wasn't going to buy it and when i lost the destroyer that i saved for 2 days for, that was pretty much it for me. Seemed like PVP was where it was at in that game.. which I like.

I wish X3 would go MassiveMultiplayer... or shit, ill take Wing Commander online at this point =)

They really should nail home the idea that just because you *can* pilot a ship doesn't mean you can pilot it well. That and civilian modules should have descriptions saying how terrible they are. Stepping up from a frigate takes a fair number of skills and ~2 weeks of training.

Of course destroyers suck in general, but hey.....

yeah, everybody said they sucked, but no way in hell was i going to save for a cruiser just to have my trial run out the next day - for the 10min i had my destroyer i was very happy with it - it was a shit of a lot better than my rookie ship.

it really seemed like a decent game - i heard "WOW" mentioned about 4000 times and it even seemed like some of the rookies just kept playing the 2 week trial over and over and over again. The vast majority of folks in the rookie channel were helpful. It is a harder game to learn (than most MMO)..I REALLY like that.. I think it keeps some of the kids and assholes away.

I ran it, and it worked fine. This morning after the daily maintenance the game crash's when you leave the space port.

Then I heard about the deleted file problem, the files never got deleted on me, but I am worried as hell now about what to do.

I do not want my PC fucked up, and if these clowns are going to pull this kind of shit, I think I will move on to a different game.
