I hate it when management uses "right?" to end a statement as if to get you to agree with them when they are wrong.

I also hate when people use ASAP. It is as if they assume that we are not already working as hard as possible to get you what you need. If it is friggin urgent let me know that you need it in an hour, before the end of the day, whatever. ASAP might be next friggin year.

For gaming:

"Posting in a legendary thread."
"Quoted for truth."

For the real world:
"That's a true fact." (yes, and that's a short midget)
"If I could be honest here..." (no, lie to us, jackass)
"... basically..." (which means 'you see, uh.. I guess, uh... I don't know what I am talking about')

I positively hate it when people say "hello?" trying to figure out if you're still there or not.

Happens in instant messages at work all the time, as well as when people call me. I said I was checking something now fuck off and let me check it!

I was only kidding (or related phrases). If you have to tell me that it was a joke, you failed. Adding that phrase onto the end of a hurtful statement does not change the fact that you are an ass.

No offense but... If you are beginning a sentence with this phrase, you already know that it will cause offense and have chosen to say it anyway. Have some balls and eat the person's displeasure.

Another thing that annoys me is when people quote other people on the boards in their sigs, like Khan does. It's not as bad here, since we all sort of "know" each other, and we're a tight community, but it's really annoying on the WoW boards when someone makes his sig something "clever" that someone said on his server, then uses that same sig when posting in the general section, where literally millions can see it.

It's not confusing... I understand perfectly the whole naming order scheme (big anime / manga fan + a history major, learned a lot about middle eastern naming conventions) but it's still annoying hearing them call him by a backwards name. Everytime I hear it I'm like "McGrady Tracy hits the 3 to win the game!!!"

Bass. if it's a fish or a name, it's fine. If it has to do with music it some dumb french crap that you have to pronounce completely differently than it's written. There is already an established pronunciation, and every instance of -ass in the English language is pronounced that way; why then is there a need to pronounce it differently for music?
