After a few months in the UK, in a professional environment, I'd like to offer up the one phrase that makes me want to smack the person that says it:

Me: "Can you take a look at this?"
Them: "Sorry, I don't have the bandwidth for that."

I'm sorry, I need you to be broadband and not dialup. :p

it means what bandwidth means.. capacity. they don't have the capacity to do that right now.

Bandwidth is capacity for throughput, not containment. They don't even have the metaphor right.
