Very nice bike. I thought the truck looked better without the camper on the back, though.

agreed, but I need a cap on the back. I travel a lot during hunting season and a cap is a must have.

Nothing worse than getting your gear and tent soaked even before you unpack it...

I get 17mpg easily. If I'm driving for mileage I can get up to 21. Of course I don't drive like a sluggish pussy, so let's compromise around 19.

That's not bad for a fullsize pick-up.

While real life pics are definitely a step in the right direction(Just look at Bello, he even has a pic of HIMSELF!!!!! Good grief, he may as well have posted naked pics with a 3-page summary of how hawt he is), I believe the requirement is that you must also post a short story about RL events. :skewl:

Still, bonus points for posting pictures of something you own or once had. Clearly, you are trying to make all of us jealous. If I feel jealous, you must be attention whoring.

If you use public transportation (buses, trains, etc.), fly on planes, or ride any vehicle that is diesel or gasoline powered you don't truly care about global warming either. Well, you might "care", but you're not helping the matter by using motorized vehicles.

It's a collective effect and we are all at fault, regardless of the vehicle we drive. The only people who can say they truly advocate a greener earth and do their part to reduce their carbon footprint are those who walk as their sole mode of transportation.

Fribur already covered the obviousness of taking smaller steps, which still goes towards solving a problem. While we need to cut back a very large amount to make a difference, if literally EVERYONE cut back by 50 percent it would be a huge change. Small steps can work too, and it still means you care enough to at least TRY and make a difference.

But as I suspect this is the usual stab against Al Gore, I'll pose something similar to what I said in the other thread: Depends on how they have affected the problem. What is the net change produced by my actions(positive or negative)? If I convince say, 1 million people to cut back on their emissions while I have an output of 2000 people(ok, this is probably low considering the jet, but my guess is it's probably not 1 million), what is the net result? 1,000,000 - 2000 = Positive change. Very simple logic here.. not very hard to grasp what a net change is. I'd have to say if you're having a larger effect on influencing people's reduction in emissions than almost anyone, it's probably safe to say you care about global warming. But OH, he doesn't practice what he preaches!! Please check the net change again, folks.

Actually I should say, if everyone cut back by even 50 percent within their reasonable means. In other words, you still drive and don't walk everywhere, and you haven't changed your lifestyle very much - but you have cut back 50 percent of what you view as living reasonably. Though it would be nice to expect people to sacrifice a bit, even if people cut back without sacrificing much it would make a large difference at least in terms of output.

Back on topic.

I concur with Bello that Neesha is the biggest attention whoring douche bag on this board. Dolalin is a close second.

I see Leo has his own picture as an icon. Clearly he is an attention whore.

Trakanon is FFA and probably close to if not soloable at this point.

Just because they buy into it and give you the attention doesn't change the fact that you're the worthless self-loathing individual begging for it in the first place.

Trying to justify it by saying you only did it because you knew people would fall for it is one of the classic indicators of attention whoredom.

Yeah but 2 things....

1. You work for Chevron so your fuel is free.

2. You fly a chopper for work and look cool while doing it...

Both of those negate the 165gph hogage.

And yet here you are, still posting, Xan. Just what do you hope to accomplish?

Do you hope, through your magnanimous efforts at wordplay, to convince me of the error of my ways, and to dissuade me from doing this again in the future?

No, of course not. It's childish, schoolground namecalling at its finest. That's it, that's all.

And you enjoy it.

And quite frankly, I'm amused so many of you won't just come out and admit it. Because I will, and do. I love watching otherwise respectable people sink to the level of sixth-grader, attacking someone they'll never meet for trivial, petty things. You make asses of yourselves.

Like clockwork.

And it's hilarious.

He wants to make himself look like billy badass I'm holier than you, when in reality everyone is just laughing at him, but he doesn't get it.

I'll give it 3 months before he asks for them to ban him again because he can't seem to control himself.

Speaking of hilarity, It is funny how you can justify it that way seeing as you are the one that got a second chance. Remember the bullet that was a few feet from kissing your face? It's a shame not even that could go far enough to make you realize you were nothing more but an arena gate camping pussy who only has claim to fame was being the resident douche.

Sound sixth grade? Lets continue.

If the thought of an entire community fighting amongst themselves over who would be the first to drop trow and shit on your coffin amuses you, you don't need thread after thread to reaffirm that. One would think you would have that figured out near a decade ago.

I'll say it again, if it didn't sink into your skull. If the bullet were a few feet and the outcome were somewhat different in your life, nobody here would have cared.

Nobody.

You would think that when someone is presented with a second outlook on life, they tend to value it a bit more. If you honestly need anything more to validate your mortality than an experience such as that, you are a sad individual.

People died a handhold away from you. For those people I give my sympathies that it had to be them, and not you. So much potential lost I'd wager.

If you want to take it as such, go ahead.

Wonder what your ideals would be if it had been that pretty young lady whose picture got posted earlier was one of the people who got plugged.

It is nice tho, to be able to look and analyze your behavior then and now, compare that to my own and actually see the higher standard of living I've obtained. I guess congratulations are in order to you for being able to reach a plateau I vacated some time ago. Enjoy the pedestal. It is a very lonely one.

Got your reputation from just hangin around
You got your mind from a hole in the ground
You come on up, look around for a will of your own, but you're mine.

Hammarskjold is a pretty sweet name for a High School even if it is just some lame swedish guys name.

I haven't read an internet thread in the past couple of years where I've seriously been 100% amused and entertained. The fact that Dolalin can somehow be entertained and find this thread actually HILARIOUS is retarded.

It's really not that funny, even if you did dupe everyone into trolling you at your whim.

Part of baiting is putting on a show. I haven't exactly hidden my disappointment at the replies.

Though, Givin's post actually deserves a serious response...and I'll just say this: Your real friends' opinions of you never sway day-to-day based on what you post on the internet.
