I don't care if you believe or not.

The ensuing discussion about whether I'm lying or not will also be entertainment.

That sounds really really stalker-ish if you ask me. Be it a lie or not, if I were this chick I'd return to sender this book in the form of a box of ashes. As for the paintings...those I'd probably donate to a homeless dude so he can build a second bedroom on his box-house.

I find it hilarious that Dolalin has convinced himself that somehow he has the "upper hand" (when really, there is none to be had.) and somehow has duped all of the people of these forums into a discussion that pleases him somehow.

It's a classic case of being called out for being an emofag. The backpedalling is what has made it so entertaining.

In a rare show of agreeing with sky, here, I will have to say that it's painfully apparent that Dola truly and deeply still cares what twenty strangers on an internet message board think about him.

The only thing sadder than chasing after a memory the way you've done, is how quickly you attempt to play the "haha I was baiting you" card (again).

Since you apparently don't learn from history, I'm half expecting a PM in the coming weeks begging me to ban you (again). Or perhaps you'll make another board persona (again).

Here's a big huge hint for you, take it for what you will. You're miserable in many aspects of your life. The only commonality is you. Until you make some serious changes, the past will continue to repeat itself with predictable results. Continuing to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results....well that's one definition of insanity.

Actually I didn't think she was bad looking at all, not that it matters one way or another. But the 'LOOK AT HOW PATHETIC I AM...LOLZ I MADE U LOOK' is a level of attention whoring I just don't get. Which would be fine, there's lots of stuff I don't grok, but jesus christ it comes off as depressing. It's up there with making a poll asking if anyone will miss you if you died, then faking your own internet death. /rolleyes

So, just to get this straight...you have a current girlfriend who is ok with you being ready to leave her in a moment at the call of this other chick, should she be interested in re-igniting an undeveloped flame from years ago? And she (current girlfriend) finds this thread 'just as funny as you do'?

Is my memory going or did this actually happen on the old board... I vaguely remember something like this but can't be absolutely sure what board it was on.

I miss my left arm :(

So, the entire point of this whole posting, was for you to show your woman that your reputation around here was so sad, that people would believe you're even more of a pathetic loser than people already thought?

What does it do?

it says on their website: When you poke someone, a poke icon will appear on his or her Home page with the option to "Remove Poke" or "Poke Back."

I just signed up for this website today.

btw, playing me some nwn2 with the new motb exp pack. Going through the OC(orig. campaign) first. Playing an rog/fgt character using archery and longbows. Archery is pretty broken normally but with some downloaded things to make bows/ammo properly enchantable and toolset fix to remove wt. reduction from duskwood bows it's much better.

Not that I mind stopping by these boards and witnessing a little action going on, but:

Quote:
You posted an attention whoring post, and I responded to provide you with the attention you seek.

I guess I just don't quite see how the original post is attention whoring. Because he posted REAL LIFE INFOZ W/PIC, it has to be attention whoring? I wouldn't completely put it past Dolalin, but I can't quite figure how it's begging for attention in itself. The message itself, though perhaps tainted by a bit of emo, seems reasonable and worthy of some thought/reminder: Opportunities have probably passed each of us by at one point or another, and putting things off isn't always the best solution. Discuss that for whatever merit it's worth.. who cares if he's craving for attention or not. Just give it to him, there's no need to feel like "he's won" by giving him the attention.

I could see the annoyance factor with someone whining for attention... but a post that takes a few seconds to read? Person jumping up and down doing cartwheels singing/screaming = annoying. Quick post with a simple message = not so much.

If he wanted attention so much he'd probably create a topic more than once per month and make average posts that were longer than two sentences.

Further:

Quote:
That's just perfect. I wrote her a 151-page book about our history and experience(s) together...had it printed, hardcover, and mailing it to her for her birthday. Those quotes are going inside the front cover.

What exactly went through your minds after reading this when some of you concluded "THIS GUY IS SERIOUS!!!!!!"? Please read the lines, slowly and carefully: "had it printed, hardcover, and mailing it to her for her birthday." Now check what he was quoting. Read it slowly and carefully. Ok, now read what he said again slowly and carefully.

Boggles the mind. Sarcasm detectors are are minimum capacity I guess.

I suppose part of me is hoping we can get some better material than the "bash the emo kid" variety we can always find at our local WoW forum. Something about posting only the 5 millionth wrist/emo(LOL ACROSS TEH STREET) joke comes off as lacking in originality. I'd add that I'm about as far from emo as you can get, but you probably wouldn't believe me after this. =p

Ten years ago, a mutual crush throughout high school...shared interests and experiences...living right across the street. So many missed opportunities for each of us to tell the other how we felt.

So you had the hots for her 10 years ago.

This time around, I told her. And for an evening, it was mutual.

Now you saw her again and you guys spent an evening together... maybe you even stuck your tiny dick in her.

That night, we wanted a relationship...but the next morning, her mind changed. Because, she said, I represented the past...and you can never go back.

She sobered up and realized you were the same douchebag you were back in high school, only with a few less pounds.

Quote:
Over the years, we grew apart as people. We'd simply changed too much for it to work... When it's all said and done, and the expenses of airfare and emotional breakdown tallied up, the net cost to me is hard to put a number to.

Here's where the bullshit meter kicks in. Did it happen recently or a long time ago? When did the long distance relationship happen (airfare, emotional breakdown, yada yada)? If it happened a long time ago, and you were just reflecting back on things and how you wish they were different, then why the fuck is your dumbass girlfriend having a laugh at this thread?

It's all bullshit and some of us are smart enough to see it (many fell for it all and thought Dola was being a good guy... please). Obviously, the book shit was bullshit as well, which is why I didn't bother to respond to it. It was attention whoring from the beginning and it is attention whoring now. And here I am, contributing to the attention seeking he needs so badly. You're welcome.

Venen: it is ALL bullshit, the entire post/thread.. did you miss that part?

I think I must have. The original post seems quite authentic on the face of it, you can taste the emo. Picture, story, simple harmless message. Then, after he gets flamed a bit, he throws in a sarcastic comment that a 5-year-old could decipher. Was there something complicated about that?

Just go by what he says in his own post, it happened this summer. Why would she laugh at it? Hell, why not? Relationships like the one described are usually a bit more involved than anything this thread can deliver, especially given the long history. Why wouldn't you chuckle at it given the number of assumptions posted here? Even if not, sometimes you just have to sit back and laugh at the situation. My bullshit meter for the original post is still waiting for a variable to move it. Still, hell if I care if his original story is true or not. What harm does it do to simply assume it's true and give the benefit of the doubt?

Beyond that, still lookin for a reason it was attention whoring other than "LOL REAL LIFE STORY + PICZ!!!". Let me know dudes.

Time was that you guys could come up with a bit more than cut-n-paste from GIS. The only one even trying is Neesha. Sad as hell.

What the fuck happened to Lanys?
