btw, playing me some nwn2 with the new motb exp pack. Going through the OC(orig. campaign) first. Playing an rog/fgt character using archery and longbows. Archery is pretty broken normally but with some downloaded things to make bows/ammo properly enchantable and toolset fix to remove wt. reduction from duskwood bows it's much better.

I wouldn't completely put it past Dolalin, but I can't quite figure how it's begging for attention in itself. The message itself, though perhaps tainted by a bit of emo, seems reasonable and worthy of some thought/reminder: Opportunities have probably passed each of us by at one point or another, and putting things off isn't always the best solution. Discuss that for whatever merit it's worth.. who cares if he's craving for attention or not. Just give it to him, there's no need to feel like "he's won" by giving him the attention.

I could see the annoyance factor with someone whining for attention... but a post that takes a few seconds to read? Person jumping up and down doing cartwheels singing/screaming = annoying. Quick post with a simple message = not so much.

If he wanted attention so much he'd probably create a topic more than once per month and make average posts that were longer than two sentences.

Relationships like the one described are usually a bit more involved than anything this thread can deliver, especially given the long history.
