well yeah in following years they had to go and make good movies based on comic books and totally fuck that up, but i've seen x2 like 3 times since and i still contend that it's quite bad

I think this thread existed before we had the Arts & Entertainment forum.

Say what you will about "X2", I would insist that the first Hulk movie was never anything but a waste of celluloid.

I didn't hate the first Hulk movie really. There were some aspects of it that I thought were kind of cool. Some that were horrible as well, but such is life.

X2 had the Nightcrawler fight scene. I don't remember a damn thing else about that movie. Completely forgettable.

I still dunno why people hated on X2 so much. It did what it was supposed to do, it wasn't supposed to be some dramatic masterpiece or a stunning accomplishment in character development.

It's a bunch of guys with super-powers running around fighting. What more did you expect?
