Yeah it got the axe, but luckily the show is owned by Ron Howard's company and not Fox, so they're free to shop it around. Apparently both Showtime and ABC are interested, but I haven't heard anything current (within a week or so), so hopefully it'll go to ABC. <i></i>

It just occurred to me that you were probably talking about the show, and while I would agree in most cases, I guess I make an exception for AD. Other than most of the episodes of this current season, I think it's entirely unreasonable to call the writing "poor." In any given episode (in the first two seasons, that is) there is more comedy than most shows have in an entire season. While I don't think the show would work as well without the narration, I don't think it would be as crippled as you seem to, and it's my contention that the narration is yet another of the show's unsuccessful attempts to draw in new viewers. For other examples, see the third season, except for this week's episode - that was gold. <i></i>
