Guild Wars 2 Servers

Wherever you live in the world, America, Europe, Australia, Taiwan you can pick any server to make your homeworld.

Your server choice becomes your homeworld for WvW. WvW is the main reason to pick the same server as your friends and guild. If you want to enter the same WvW map then you MUST have the same homeworld.

If you do pick a different server to a friend you can group with them for PvE and sPvP then play on their homeworld as a guest, accruing all the usual PvE experience and loot.

You can play in the same guild across different servers but only members who play on the server where the guild is created will get the benefits of guild upgrades, such as a guild bank. Guild members on a different server will have a separate pool of influence for their upgrades, although it may be difficult to progress if your population, and hence your influence, is low.

Pick carefully – if you want to change it there is likely to be a fee.

World transfers are free the first two weeks.

Like a yabo, I deleted my toons before transfering worlds.

Not sure, but it could have transfered my toons, or retained my bank items?
