Pretty sad news I guess. Hellgate:London was shit and if anybody can make that grindfest piece of garbage playable, its the Koreans.

Does the US version require a paid subscription to play, or connection to their server? I never bought this game.

I'm asking because as of yesterday, the game is still selling at my local WalMart, and I was wondering if people who buy it will get the shaft or not.

From what I've read I believe you can play for free online but if you "subscribe" you get additional features. Sounds very Korean-style with that respect.

It's funny because I usually get pretty hyped about new MMO's just to try them out(often IMO it's worth the experience just to see some of the different ideas), this is one where I took one glance and said "Nope".
