It's not bad... you can buzzsaw from 1-20/21 in i'd say 20-24 hours if you know where to go... 15-20 isn't bad at all really it slows down a bit 18-20 if you don't know where to go... but the leveling isn't bad if you don't group with idiots.. players who don't know how to play will drag you down bad in this game... yay for having an excuse to group fucktards out of your group ;) Yay.

Josh.

Was in an AE group last night that reminded me of some EQ groups that I'd been in. Experience was rolling in. Fun times!

I have been levle 10 for about a week. I kill level 8 stuff, but the exp I get is like killing orc pawns in EQ's hell-level of 59.

WoW: Rileigh
I only have one character that's level 20+ (that one I haven't player for quite some time too) but I still would like to see soloing experience be a bit lower then what it is.

At level 10 you can take on mobs 1-2 levels higher if you've got a decent connection. You'll find the best xp that route, or grouping with a complementary class and doing more difficult runs.

I'd say hhug's estimate is abit off from the time it will take in the final release. They tweaked it to much to the point it was insanely slow and retuned the difficulty of mobs and changed some things around with how exp was rewarded.

Not to many people have done 1-20 since the final changes were made but if you went in with a great group of friends knowing where to go and not get caught up with the small stuff and exploring etc you could power level it relatively fast but honestly for most people this games exp curve is slow enough that only the truly dedicated are going to be going balls to the wall to reach max level right away, most will be exploring the different spheres and the mass areas. One good thing is by lvl 10-15 you already have a full set of abilities/skills to make fights engaging opposed to having one/2 skills. If anything there is to many abilities avaiabile for different situations because I have 2.5 hotkey bars that i use use a shit ton of my abilities depending on situations.

Anyway ya...exp is going to be slow unless you are prepared or one hell of a fast learner.
