Who's playing on release and does everyone want to hook up?

If I play on release (which is likely) my grouping char will be a shaman. Probably half elf. Unless someone has a better racial idea. (Dark elves can't be shaman :p)

Also plan on having a sorc or maybe a necro. Dark Elf necro. Maybe a goblin sorc since I love the little gobbies.

Most likely Goblin Monk, gf will be WE Shaman.

Im not quite sure about race yet, some of the racial abilities look too nice for dueling... Orc "lifetap" and the 45% heal human... Hmpf!

I'll be a Goblin monk or a Disciple. The revamp for Disciples hasn't been put in yet so not sure. I'm not able to play much til Feb 2nd, but tons after that.

We're playing at release. Mordebi warrior, cleric and sorcerer.

I will be playing but not much until after two of my main WoW characters are level 70.

I'll be playing a cleric, bard and necro. The cleric will be on a separate account so I can 2-box. I think the necro will be my "main".

I was trying other classes since the "fix" that nerfed the Bloodmage damage (read healing power) at the beginning of the month but now with the revamp that's probably what I will play.

Still not sure on the race yet.

How is the bloodmage now, they've overhauled it so many times.

i am undecided on races, i've been trying to find area's with nice stories/quests/general atmospheres so suggestions are welcome.


RIght now i'm looking at Monk (probably Orc or Kojan) or Dread Knight (Probably dark elf) maybe a cleric (i'm trying one now in beta to see how it is).

I'm playing a mordebi shaman... leveling a bear right now as i have a 30 phoenix.... seeing what the bear has to offer but i'm planning on phoenix. I think turb will be a DE sorc or Mordebai sorc.

Im not sure about the Monk anymore, Dreadknight has sooo many cool abilities. I was hoping Storm Stride would be similar to Shadowstep, but it isnt. DK seems way more geardependent though which sucks.. Well some more time to think about it.

Yes, DE sorc here with prob a DE cleric 2box unless i find a good racial on qalia for my 2box.

Drab (old lanys person) set up a good guild in beta called Inner Fire (ironic as he was TSO) that we will probably be with to start live. Good group of them are from phoenix and canada etc.

Second it goes live and we get the call for which server ill post it for those that totally have no clue or don't care. Never a bad thing to run into old familiar faces in new games unless its haxor or uzziel.

The clever police need to smack Drab in the forehead for "coming up with" that guild name.

His name was actually Dral. Very good guy, one of the best. I am sure any guild he is part of will be top notch. I'd gladly be part of any guild he led, any person who likes smart leadership and aggresive progression would.

When I dinged 50, some kind chanter from Visions provided me with almost all of my dropped spells from 50 to 60 except for KEI which I got with the help of a generous ogre beastlord named Sreepz who hardly knew me at the time. Sadly, I do not recall the name of the enchanter.

Honestly, it was things like that that made EQ so great and I'm hoping that Vanguard will create an environment that will allow that same level of community to grow in.

EDIT: Guess I should read the last few messages prior to posting...

Too bad the Dral Turbo is talking about is NOT the same Dral.

I think (not sure) Dral and Atuuke were the first Ogre Warriors I ever saw while playing EQ =p.

He is probably 22 - 23 now.

And the first ogre warriors I ever saw (and in turn looked up to) were Atuuke and Vlah
