Decent console style graphics on this engine. Is it too little too late? Will this new engine be more successful than their last 3D engine update?

Will the game become more than just a pastel robe wearing, rock collecting, dragon taming gayfest of retardation?

Are they using the Snowblind engine from BG2? I saw that screenshot and thought of the temple ruins in the Umar Hills. Made me want to slay Thaxll'ssillyia again.

LOL that first 3d engine they used was absolutely horrific.

It's funny that I came across this post again today.

I spent like an hour digging up my 2 old uo account names. Was like a treasure hunt since my credit card used for the accounts has long been cancelled and discarded, the email address registered to them is defunct..etc lol..

I managed to dig up old emails from ea and piece together the usernames and eventually the passwords...just wish I had saved more in my banks lol. Both of my houses had absolute mountains of stuff in them, I was a major packrat.

Might be interesting to reactivate tho from what I was reading on stratics the game has gotten incredibly complicated...and is prolly still full of script users and bug exploiters up the wazoo.

Your houses didn't decay? It's been a while for me so maybe they changed that.

Yeah... I was wanting to go back and see how my houses held up, if they were still there. Supposedly they drop FAR slower than they did before( was like 1 week i believe). But I had so much shit in those towers, would be pretty rough starting over heh...

Considering trying to login just to see if my house is still there, will probably reactivate my accounts and rarely/never play(like an idiot) if it is...

I've actually been trying to get my 2 accounts going just for the heck of it but EA's legendary horrible customer service has actually gotten worse.

You now have to tech almost all support from their Q*A site where you ask a question and someone in Bangladesh reads it and responds in 3+ days (supposed to be 24hours) with a response that in no way shape or form reflects the question you asked.

You ask something like "I have my username and password to my accounts but I am trying to find out which characters are on which account before I spend 20.00 and activate the wrong one"

You get a form letter response directing you on the various methods of proper password retrieval and username locations...etc

It's just ridiculous. The one tech on the phone was able to find my one account only because i remembered the username. She was totally unable to find the other account linked to the same old email address ( there were actually 3 at one point) So I had to take my old puter out of the box and hook it up to dig though about 400 outlook files. Lo and behold I find the other account username and PW that she had no record of.

It's amazing that they charge as much now as mainstream games yet have worse customer service than dell.
