To be all honest about it, who gives a shit about NDA's? Sure, I'll accept it just to be in the beta but I don't give a shit what I tell and who I tell it to.<

May make me a shitty beta tester / person / whatever but seriously, fuck NDA's, I just absolutely don't care about them.

I think expecting people to be honest enough and loyal enough to an NDA regardless of it being a legal agreement is silly.<

Especially in a game with as much (ill-deserved) hype as Vanguard. I mean, everyone wants to
ag -- it's human nature.<

Still, fact remains -- NDA's including a stipulation in regard to not telling people you're a beta tester is silly. Especially in regards to the type of people the game is marketed to.

Kicked out for blatantly violating the NDA (IE posting detailed negative info and screenshots on a busy website) maybe. Sued for it? Incredibly unlikely, unless you were like the owner of pennyarcade and you informed 20 million people how much vanguard sucks and then refused to take it down when they warned you.

Not that I am going to play this game, because I never really enjoyed "playing hardcore" even though I did do it at one point, however....<

Why in the world would anyone get up in arms about how crappy a game is in its Late Alpha, early Beta stage. People are supposed to be playing the game in those stages to find bugs, and help iron out gameplay problems.<
>
<
>
If the game sucks now, then arent you supposed to help them change it so it doesnt ? Isnt that the whole reason of beta testing ? Or is the reason just to play a game for free, and try to get a head start so a person can tear through the content faster?<
>
<
>
<
>
Thats a no win situation for the developer. Either the game sucks, and instead of people helping them make it NOT suck, people abandon it, or the game is fun, and people get such a head start on the content that its beaten before the game comes out....<

As of now; falling out of the game, zone crashes, UI bugs, graphic glitches, bugged mobs, and many other problems still exist. Sigil is working hard to get this problems fixed as the beta testers report them. The past 2 or 3 patches have improved the graphics stability and some other issues greatly. Magelo

Who cares about bugs, that's what testing is for. The question is (aside from bugs) how is it? Is there really anything "special" or "new" about it, that will set it above other games. A co-worker has a
other in law that's been playing/testing it and he's saying he doesn't find anything special about it yet.

Really, no. I dont see anything new special about it so far. There are different things that I still have to get into though like Parlying, harvesting, and jobs. Theres so much in the game thats not finished, and so much that I just havnt gotten into so far. I just wanna level level level and then figure out all the new special stuff. =) Only lvl 14, but still rising.<

As far as graphics go....I like them better then EQ2, more of a color range; and defently a lot more detailed.<
