Here is the link to the lottery site. That is where I got the money when I was asking for advice on upgrades and stuff before. http://www.ctlottery.org/Modules/Winners/detail.aspx?cid=324464 I hit the Lottery for a small chunk. I was able to wipe out all of my debt, buy and fix up a house, and put some away in investments and have a little put away to play. Nice chunk of money, but, I still got to work. It just takes away a lot of worries owning a house straight out. All the upgrades I have been doing(Roof, Heating, floors, insulation, etc) are designed to make it so that I will have very little to worry about and the cost of maintaining it will be low in the long run. |

Congrats, you kept it secret for 4 months. Shouldn't have spent money on that financial planner. By the time you were done with your house and paying the planner's fees, you most likely had no money left to financially plan. |

Whoa, reading the title I'd assumed this was a joke! Congrats!!! That's nuts! It sounds like you hit the perfect balance as far as winnings, too: enough to get you out of debt and leave a little something to both invest and have fun with, but not enough to make everyone around you turn on you. Incidentally ... loan me a $20? |

I'm not sure why the attachment box still shows up, we've disabled attachments as a security measure. Edit: That being said, if you want to post a picture, upload it to something like imgur (please god use imgur), then use the img tags. |
