I don't visit this place as often as I should. It's helpful to be reminded of who and what you were, and how far you've come. But I've been busy.

This summer, I returned to the town I left twelve years ago, and to those I left behind. I returned to the love of my life, but I also returned to chase a dream.

I'm in the midst of purchasing a Contessa 26, and will be refitting her this spring for bluewater. My goal is to set sail for Europe, to tour England and the Med.

When I return, Katie and I will be married.

It's a relief to finally be living life, and no longer hiding behind a screen. I wish you all well, even the haters. I bear no ill will to any of you: in fact, you had some small part in jolting my ass into gear. Especially you, Givin. (Neesha gets an honorable mention.)

Dolalin was a typical know it all teen, but actually knew more than most at that age (certainly more than I did) and was fairly articulate at making good arguments. Glad to hear you're doing well.
