A mod can move this to the arts forum if you want, but I figured this place would get a few more eyes...
I'm taking a class for young adult reading materials, and I have to compile a huge list of reading materials that meet certain criteria. I've chosen scifi/fantasy as my genre, and one category I have to fill is disabilities.
Because I'm working to fill the list with a variety of books, ranging from audiobooks to graphic novels, I thought about Daredevil. However, I know pretty much nothing about the text or story, other than hearing that the movie sucks. (I didn't bother to see it.)
From the little research I've done (I'm having to research 50 novels, and I've just begun this one), it seems that Frank Miller is the writer I want to showcase, and he wrote comics in addition to graphic novels. For this report's purpose, I want to focus on a graphic novel.
So my questions: Would this series be inappropriate for teens? If I were to pick a single GN, which should it be?
Thank for any suggestions!
