Lasso seems to think it was called farewell lanys or something of the like. Even just who created it may help. It was a series of screenshots taken over the life of his/her character, and was set to a musical piece (I remember it saying something like, you said we would see this together). I have this thing stuck in my head, and just need to view it...please help.

Don't think any of the Mirage/Sinzan videos have anything to do with Lanys, though.

(Damn, those videos are like uber nostalgia kick in the face. So many memories all at once. Really wish it were possible to recapture that old EQ feeling.)

Dood, awesome! I remember someone doing something similar for Lanys when they left (I saw some of you in it), but yeah I remember this one as being fantastic. I wonder if I will ever have that magical feeling in any game again. I raid in WoW, and enjoy it...but it has always been just a game, and my character just a character. In EQ, I was my character and I existed in Norrath.

Hangs out on Elune raiding with Failure (the guild, not results). Actually he came up with that name back at launch, so maybe a little of both lol.

I wish I could see Ralanan's farewell post again. He put together a great memory web page full of pics and such.

I wonder if that is the one I remember as well. I remember it sparking all kinds of nostalgia. I was never important enough to make it into those, but a lot of friends/guildmates were lol.
