I have a fully electric lawnmower... I like it . But, yours is even more green than mine!

I do have a thick stand of grass, the guy at the store said that the electric mower would have issues cutting it when it gets deep. This is actually easier to push around than my old gas mower. Yard has been cut twice with it, first time was a few weeks past cutting and today was just a cleanup. Didn't take me that long to do it and I didn't need my ear plugs nor dust mask

oh, and yes I put the clippings in my compost pile.

I see these folks replacing their entire lawns with rocks and cement and start getting a bit jealous of their upkeep freedom...

You can just do what I do, I went green and only mow down my mess once a year after the town sends me the weed control warning letter.

Electric/gas mowers are grand for the errant yellowjacket nest.

Those old school mowers are nice and all but you really gotta keep up on the lawn. You let it get a teeny bit too long and those things are almost useless.

not really, when I got this one it had been two to three weeks since I had last mowed and the lawn was gnarly. It took two passes and the yard looked good. This past weekend I mowed it again and you could not tell any difference between a power mower or this one

It also hasn't started to dull too much yet. Sharpness is crucial on those.
