Murphy went into full cardiac arrest last night and could not be revived, according to TMZ. The Los Angeles Fire Department tells the site they received a call from a home belonging to Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack. The actress was pronounced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Not necessarily at all. There have been football players or even marathon runners who have dropped dead from cardiac arrests at ages as early as 17.

There's plenty of disorders out there, including some that are inherited arrhythmia disorders.

I heard on the Radio this morning, she was fighting Anorexia, Diabetes and other undisclosed medical conditions.

Off the top of my head, she was in a few movies: 8 Mile, Black Book, and Sin City, Uptown Girls.

I only saw Sin City out of that list

She was in Sin City? I can't remember her in that, but I really loved that flick.

It was a very small part. I think maybe she got a total of 5 minutes of screen time.

She is more remembered for being in Clueless, 8 Mile and Uptown Girls. O and she played opposite of Ashton Kutcher in some romance movie- IIRC she was dating him at the time. Never saw the movie, don't know the name.

You're neglecting to mention her greatest role, as the voice of Luanne on King of the Hill.

Coroner on the news said they found a long list of prescription drugs in her home. She pulled a Heath Ledger, MJ, etc, abuse of prescription drugs.

Shame, the bitch was hot.

Not that I doubt you, but where is the source of that news? The last I heard, they weren't releasing any autopsy reports until after the toxicology, which could take a few weeks. I also heard mention of H1N1. Although you did say "in her home" and not "in her body" which leads me to ask why the Coroner was going through her medicine cabinets.

After seeing pictures from this event from December 1st I'm less surprised.

Her husband died this weekend of "natural causes". Seems pretty damned weird.

Reports state she had prescription drugs for pneumonia and other respiratory infections. His mother in law stated he was waiting for a bypass surgery, that he postponed for some reason that I don't remember.

I'm sorry to see the passing of a C-list actress and her unknown husband.
