Seems more or less like a Email and Instant chat rolled into one set up.

Not sure I yet see a point in it beyond not having to have two programs running at the same time

But Obviously need to work with it and give it time to see what else it might be good for.

Be nice if it had a voice chat program on it.

I agree. I'm surprised this is even called a beta. I'm sure once it's closer to being finished and people are allowed to sign up it may take off because it's supposed to be about staying connected with people and community. With a limited few people and few features you can't really see the platform shine.

Well I've already gotten 3 of my classmates signed up and we started a wave on our Linear Algebra final and we're about to start working through some proofs.

I heard about a guy who did some searching and found AD&D waves and had a ball gaming.

I doubt I'd have much to do with it if I didn't already have a plan how to use it. In that respect, I guess Its a 'get out what I put into it' thing. ie it's not passive entertainment.

it's slow and clunky right now, sure, but it's far from stupid. This is definitely a *beta,* and you can tell that it will be better.

Hell, the interface we're using isn't even really what we're previewing; it's the protocols underneath the hood that I hope will take off. Other companies can and will create much better interfaces if it takes off.
