Any ideas on this? My basement is a simple taupe color and I have an idea, but not sure I can realize it. I want to paint some simple stencils on the wall to mimic people hanging out.

Think the Mad Men logo of the guy sitting in the chair. I have an image of a silhouette of a woman leaning on the wall holding a drink. Possibly red lips and a blue flower in a hat, but the rest of her would be solid black. Another would be a man leaning back with a cigar.

I know it's vague and I am looking for ideas on getting some sort of outline I could trace on the wall. Heck, and ideas for actually getting the drawings. I could hire some sort of mural painter, but I sorta want to do it myself.

Use a projector and shoot the image you want on the walls. Use a pencil to draw the outlines. Paint over.
