Got a show you miss?
It does not matter how long it has been off the air.
What TV show(s) do you wish they would run again?
Link some info if you can.

I have a couple right off.

Strange Luck
Quote:
Imagine saving the life of a suicide jumper, witnessing the shooting of a cop, rescuing a woman from a blazing inferno, tracking down a killer and finding a suitcase full of money. That's a typical day in the life of photojournalist Chance Harper, a victim of coincidence, fate, bad timing or just plain Strange Luck.

Chance, played by film star D.B. Sweeney, was the sole survivor of a plane crash when he was a small child. Now he seems to be the right man in the wrong place at all times. He doesn't understand why he has been blessed (or cursed) by fate, but he can't bring himself to turn his back on these strange occurrences, even when they cause him bodily injury or make him guilty by association.

Helping Chance to make sense of his strange luck are two women willing to lend an attractive ear -- his photo editor and ex-girlfriend, Audrey Westin, played by Pamela Gidley, and his favorite coffee shop waitress, Angie, played by Frances Fisher.

Chance had grown up believing that his entire family died in the tragic plane crash. However, while working with criminal psychiatrist Dr. Richter, played by Cynthia Martells, he discovers that he may have a living brother, setting Chance on a search for his own identity.

Episode 1

REBOOT

I loved this cartoon when I was younger.

Brodie: Why don't they ever bring back or remake good shows, like 'BJ and the Bear.' Now there's a concept I can't get enough of, a man and his monkey.

It's funny, because that "Strange Luck" show just sounds like pretty much EVERY show where you're wondering why random_main_character01 is always running into crazy shit every week.

The A-Team, even though they'll probably mess it up as badly as they did Knight Rider.

I liked the concept behind Murder One with a single murder trial lasting the whole season. Season two was weak but my wife and I never missed an episode for season one.

They just killed off The Unit (moving it to Sundays didn't help the jump-the-shark writing each week)

I also liked The Agency. The "behind the scenes" at the CIA. There were so many political battles and posturing in this it over-complexed itself. I did like reading the between the lines stories, but if you were not a regular watcher of the show you would be totally lost from one week to the next. Then 9/11 happened and the show had to change a bit.

Just remembered "Invasion". I'd like to add that one to the list too.

ABC pulled the plug on that series after year 1.
Shitty part was, it was starting to get good at that point and series 1 ended in a cliffhanger.... which I'll NEVER SEE HOW IT RESOLVES!

Grrr.

Yeah. Bring back Invasion, please.
Thanks.

Firefly would probably fail miserably now just due to the law of high expectations.

People would be expecting the TV to reach over and give them a blowjob after all the talking up people have done and legendary status it was assigned.

That's my current favorite.

Jeffrey Donovan is clearly Hannibal and Bruce Campbell makes a good Faceman.

But I don't like to think about Gabrielle Anwar as BA. And Sharon Gless doesn't really fit the Murdock role. Then again, I haven't enjoyed that brand of crazy from anyone else. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but I enjoyed Dwight Schultz's similar role on Star Trek. Those are some of my favorite episodes of TNG.

On that point, can we get a new Trek series? Please?
